The Chilliwack Curling Club & Community Centre is growing our team and currently hiring for two part-time positions!
We’re looking for friendly, reliable and energetic people who enjoy working with the public and being part of a fun, fast-paced, community-focused environment.
🍺 BARTENDER / CATERING STAFF
$19–$21 per hour | 10–25 hours per week
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team member to work in our On The Rocks Bar and assist with catered events and functions throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Operating our Square POS system and handling cash
- Assisting with catering setup, service and breakdown
- Maintaining a clean and organized bar and event space
- Assisting with tables, chairs and event equipment
Previous bartending, serving or food service experience is preferred.
A valid Serving It Right certificate is required.
Shifts include daytime and evening hours, with weekend availability required during our busy holiday season. Some weekend shifts may run late into the evening.
VIEW BARTENDER / CATERING STAFF JOB
☕ CAFÉ ATTENDANT
$19–$20 per hour | 15–25 hours per week
Join the team in our café and help create a welcoming experience for our members, guests and community!
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers and taking food and beverage orders
- Preparing and serving coffee, tea and other beverages
- Operating our Square POS system and handling transactions
- Assisting with food preparation
- Maintaining clean and organized work and dining areas
- Following proper food safety and handling procedures
Previous café, barista or food service experience is preferred.
A valid FoodSafe Certificate is required.
This position includes a combination of morning, daytime and evening shifts based on the needs of the facility.
